In the Stora Gungan Tavern we care to keep Swedish culinary traditions alive. Home-made food with seasonal variations, cakes and biscuits are always on the menu. We are fully licensed.
Skansen is a popular destination for toursits as well as local inhabitants. If you are a larger party that want to have lunch or dinner it is suitable to make a booking of food in advance to reduce time of waiting and assure that seats will be reserved.
In the ground floor you will find yourself in an environment dated more than a hundred years back in time.
The upstairs loft is furnished in countryside style to be used as a large dining hall.
During the summer season extra seats are available in open air at Hyttorget.
